Biothaumaturgy

This Path while not officially taboo, is disturbing enough so that few among the Tremere traffic in it. Those who do are probably looked upon with suspicion, nervous whispers and dark rumors ... as such is difficult to find a mentor for this obscure path.

First Basic: 1 week to complete (per use)
Second Basic: 1 week to complete (per use)
First Intermediate:1 months to complete (per use)
Second Intermediate:2 months to complete (per use)
Advanced:3 months to complete (per use)

Basic Thaumaturgical Forensics
A successful Static Mental challenge against the subject's normal physical traits 1 yields up to 3 questions regarding physical or mystical nature; 1 additional question may be asked via the expenditure of the casters mental traits (on a 1:1 basic) during the challenge.

Basic Thaumaturgical Surgery
By the expenditure of mental traits the 'Surgeon' converts damage to a lesser kind, this procedure takes one week.

1 trait' Bashing becomes fatigued ('negligible,' in game-terms)
2 traits: Lethal becomes Bashing
4 traits: Aggravated becomes lethal

Intermediate Lesser Animation
The thaumaturge mystically endows a dead life form with a magical energy and imparts to it a rudimentary set of instructions (one short sentence only). The repulsive creations carry out their orders to the letter; biothaumatuges use this power to populate their havens with deathless guard dogs and other, quicker 'pets'. Requires expenditure of 2 mental traits and a willpower. Only one small/ simple (nothing larger than a mid sized dog) animal or plant created by the thaumaturge using this power can be animated at a time. Animated creatures have 1/2 their normal health levels, no mental traits no social traits (except 'Disturbing') and may have no more than 2 dexterity- related physical traits. The creatures retain no of their former self.

Intermediate Greater Animation
Much the same as Lesser Animation, but large and complex creatures, including humans whales etc.. Requires 4 mental Traits one willpower

Advanced Cognizant Construction
Can you say Frankenstein? As per greater animation, but the subject is 3 mental traits lower then it was in life instead of at '0' (to a minimum of one mental trait), and retains full heath levels.
