Thorn According to Thorn himself, the young Kindred was embraced at Woodstock(the original, not the latest one). Thorn's Sire spent less than a month training him in relative isolation from Kindred Society, just long enough for Thorn to develop the standard Clan powers and weaknesses. After that, Thorn survived on his own, living an increasingly feral lifetstyle until his first encounter with another Cainite nearly three years later. This vampire was of the Gangrel, and had been following Thorn the entire time.The Gangrel took Thorn under his wing and continued to instruct Thorn in the ways of Kindred culture and survival, instilling in Thorn a strong sense of animalistic harmony with his nature. To this day, thorn considers this gangrel to be his "stepsire", and the Gangrel's Childe Angus to be his "stepbrother". Thorn is given to strange visions which he describes in vague terms as the Winged Ones or the Birds. whether or not these visions are of a supernatural nature or the result of frequent "flashbacks" from the drug-induced state he experienced at the time of his Embrace has not yet been determined. Among Thorn's accomplishments have included the first steps towards a workable peace treaty/mutual law pact between a small Camarilla stronghold and a Garou Sept, both of which share a terriotory on California's Central Coast. Thorn has been considered honorable by the Garou, and has been invited to attend at least one of their Moots. Thorn has also demonstrated acceptable combat abilities, skill at the art of storytelling, and some proficiency at negotiation and leadership. He is the proud grandfather
